The long awaited iOS 8 is finally out and available for download. This update will only available for iPhone 4s, 5 and 5s. You can check if your device is entitled for the update by simply going to your device setting>General>Software Update. The first version of 8.0 will probably have some bugs as it is the first release version. Soon there will be another update to iOS 8.1 to fix some of the bugs. You can wait for the next update if you don’t want to get into having these bugs.
Anyway for those who wanted to get the iOS 8, there are two ways to get it.
1. From your device – Simply go to setting>general>software update and download it. It will require you to have at least 5GB of free space on your device to download this iOS although it is only 1.2GB file. Make sure you on Wifi or else it will take out your data. If you don’t have enough free space on your device then you can use iTunes to get your update.
2. Itunes – Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes. Usually iTunes load automatically. Backup your device then check for an update. Usually iTunes will let you know if there is an update for your device. Download the update then follow the instructions.
