The Kinabatangan river is the second longest river in Malaysia which is located on the Eastern side of Sabah. With a length of 560 kilometres, it’s water flows from hilly Southwest toward the Sulu Sea. The rainforest along the Kinabatangan river sheltered many different species of animals such as Orang Utan, The Bornean Pigmy Elephant, Proboscis monkey, Hornbills and many others. It is one of best destination for birdwatchers and wildlife photographers. It is also best for nature lovers as well where they just simply go on a boat ride in search of the animals either in the morning or late afternoon river cruise.
